1 - Wild Side of Life (Warren/Carter) (3.15)
2 - All Through The Night (Lancaster/Rossi) (3.14)

Producer: A-side - Roger Glover / B-side - Status Quo
7 inch vinyl single - VERTIGO 6059 153
Released: 3 December 1976

This was the third Quo single to be released during 1976 and for the first time since leaving Pye Records, the band invited a guest producer to work with them in the studio for the recording of a new single. The track 'Wild Side Of Life' was originally a country song, recorded in 1952 by Hank Snow, which went on to be covered by many other artists over the years.
The particular recording which prompted Francis Rossi to suggest that Quo should cover the track was the 1964 hit by Tommy Quickly And The Remo Four. With Roger Glover handling production duties, Quo recorded their version of 'Wild Side Of Life' specifically for release as their next single - which went on to become another top ten chart hit.
